Privacy notice

Mandy Parry Training is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. Mandy Parry acts as Data Controller and Mark Parry the processor. This policy explains how I use the information I collect about you.

Mailing List

I operate an email mailing list, which is our primary way of informing subscribers about important changes in legislation, to share newly released guidance or to signpost professionals working with children to support available to them relating to safeguarding and child protection. It is also used to share information about future Mandy Parry Training courses and offers. Users are added to the list when they have given their explicit consent either via signing up on the website, signing up at training events or by submitting a direct request to mandyparrytraining@gmail.com. Customers are added on the basis of legitimate interest as part of an agreement to receive on-site training.

Subscribers can unsubscribe at any time through a service as detailed in the footer of all sent marketing messages, or by contacting one of the committee and requesting removal from the list. The type and content of marketing messages subscribers receive is clearly outlined at the point of subscription.

I will not sell, distribute or lease your personal information to third parties.

Email marketing messages may contain tracking beacons / tracked clickable links or similar server technologies in order to track subscriber activity within email marketing messages. Where used, such marketing messages may record a range of subscriber data relating to engagement, geographic, demographics and already stored subscriber data. Access to member information is strictly controlled and the Mailchimp account can only be accessed by people who need it to do their job – it is only made visible to members of staff who have a reason to work with it.

My email marketing provider is Mailchimp and you can read their privacy policy here: https://mailchimp.com/legal/privacy/

I will only collect and retain basic, relevant and essential data for the purposes of communicating with members about events they have registered for and for taking payment for tickets. All data collected will be retained against individual events within the events system and managed in accordance with Eventbrite’s terms and conditions and privacy policy.

Your data is always held securely. Access to customer information is strictly controlled and the Eventbrite account can only be accessed by people who need to do their job – it is only made visible to members of staff who have a reason to work with it.
