Domestic violence and abuse
This important course is designed to raise the awareness of participants to the key safeguarding issue of domestic violence and abuse (DVA). I have delivered training on DVA for 15 years with consistently excellent high feedback.
Key Outcomes
- understand DVA, including: definitions, incidence and the relevant legislation.
- understand how DVA can affect children’s wellbeing and development.
- explore different ways to practically support parents and children affected by DVA.
